Suggestion to help multiple team members.

I noticed that an individual claims that he is unable to play in a match, because he is a member of both teams in the challenge.    http://www.chess.com/groups/team_match?id=224610

I am suggesting here, that it would be of benefit, for those members of multiple teams, if we could pick a primary (and even a secondary & tertiary) team that we would automatically play for, in those matches where one team plays another team and the individual is a member of both teams.

This way, such individuals would not be left out of a match, if they wanted to play.

I'm somewhat new here, so perhaps both he (the person with this current situation) and I are unaware of this option.   If so, please let us (all) know how we can rank our multiple team memberships for play preference.

If this option is not currently available, can it be added soon ?

we need this. you should be able to order your group preferences. this is doable. if chess.com needs help figuring out how to programmatically do this, hit me up lol

Yeah, it SEEMS to me that it should be an easy addition.

But, I'm no expert on programming.

I just figured it would be a good suggestion to help the members.

this is easy guys, just quit the one team and sign up for the match.  Then rejoin the other team.  I've done this and I yes before so I contacted the Admins to make sure it was ok.  So, you may want to contact the the team SA that you are temporarily quiting to make sure its ok.  Im sure there will be no problems..

It might be easy, but it's not simple.

In most my of my teams I have at least one VC going, what happens to those if I quit? Or I'm an admin in both, or ....... whatever.

Make it like vote chess, give the ability to choose.

I asked this just the otherday as I quit a group.  You do Not forfiet any games or withdrawl from any matches as a result of quiting.  Its quick.  Quit group.  Sign up for match.  Rejoin group.  Nothing changes.

However, I totally agree!  It should be an easy choice.  Simple be able to choose which team you want you want to play for.  Agreed 100%

If you quit a group, you get kicked from Vote chess games for that group. Fact. If you were told differently, you were given wrong information.

[edit] and the kick is permanent, you cannot join the game again after rejoining the grop.

Ok thank you for that.  I have seen you here for some time so I will take you for your word.  Team matches it doesn't affect I know that for sure.  I do know once your out of vote chess you can't re-enter..  Thanks for clearing that up!
