Tactics Trainer Suggestion

In the "Play tactic against computer", is there a way to play AGAINST the recommended tactic?  If not, it would be fun to have that feature for those of us who (yes I know!) are silly enough to think that the tactee has not made the best response to the tactor, and would like to try a better defense.

You mean, to play from the other side?

Usually, the first move the computer (tactics trainer) makes is a mistake that allows you to use a tactic to gain an advantage if you can find it.  From then on, the computer makes the best moves to force you to carry the tactic out accurately to whatever point reinforces the idea.

So you could try to find the computer's best starting move, but then there probably wouldn't be a tactic- you couldn't play 'against' it and it would be like playing out any other game vs. computer.

I hope that clarifies the suggestion idea

No, I don't think it's waht I have in mind.  Let's say you make a move, and CTS says, NO, BAD, WRONG MOVE.   HERE;S THE RIGHT MOVE."  Now, you're pissed, right!  You want to PROVE that CTS is wrong!  You want to play AGAINST the tactic and WIN.

Yes, I know, that;s a state of mind most people are too sensible to arrive at, but I get there lots, and I want a way to play against the tactic, letting the CTS computer defend it;'s own tactic.

I think that's right.

Thank you. But, yes, I have tried it lots.  But I can't get it to change sides, so I am playing against the tactic.  I am on dialup right now and cant try any of this out, so I may have it backwards.  In any case, one can only do it one way, and one can't shift sides, I don't think.

Sorry if I am not making sense here.
