Who is this "Windows7" user? The person seems to have some history amongst the locals.

Perhaps we should just ban the forums and be done with it.
Isn't that what Windows 7 did?
*sigh*
This thread has OFFICALLY become it's own candidate.
How about it, gang, anybody remember voting to put this clown in charge of anything? With his vast 4 days of membership experience and zero games played live or online?
All this hate from the word "official?" Wasn't that the forum topic and initial suggestion in the first place?

What does a "troll" in a forum mean?
Word-associations are welcome, of course, but a real explanation would be appreciated more.
In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.
However, the term troll has also been used by other trolls and/or thin-skinned people to refer to anyone who disagrees or in any way insinuates the fallibility of their opinions.

That behavior seems like a natural defence mechanism.

How has this particular community learned to deal with this type of behavior?
Usually we talk about waffles... a manifestation of our repressed desires for breakfast.

...in the same way that monkeys either eat their dung or sling it at you.
Not something I want to associate with waffles thank you
dear ivan,
reckon some of us find the 'hilarious' references to waffles every bit as boring as the threads ................yawn.......................???
