in a time scramble, there should be a way to prevent draw offer spam (which occurred at all pts of the rook ending). if not there should be a way that the user can ignore the draw offer, after seeing the first 3, 5, or 10 idk. and to disable the chat window quickly.

also it was annoying that i made a move Ke2, with about 3 seconds remaining and then about 5 seconds later i get a message saying i ran out of time. maybe my lag is bad but it seemed strange to me. I suppose it did not turn up on the spectator boards but if it did it would certainly be good to know --- i'm hoping it didn't, i would guess not if the site registered it a pt for my opponent --- but the spectators went totally bananas anyway. but obviously it was played and shown on my board ke2 i mean.

[on a chess note idk the last time i messed up that ending but stranger things have happened. for some reason i decided not to play ...re2+ immediately at some moment to see what would happen and eventually some unhappy stuff happened when i allowed the king in... i think aronian failed against carlsen in some blitz game same ending i think recently.... still silly for my level. half asleep]

btw, an 1 hr 10 minutes + for a round of mindgames... pretty crazy... with my opponent still having 17 minutes left at the end. i just played the first round, that's where the above game was from, but for a 5 round tournament... hopefully the top games are collected and saved somewhere, a few good players...

anyway, it was so weird, the game, chat etc. ... apologies for the rambling, but the suggestions at the top at least worth considering. i am too tired to be annoyed by my chess at least haha, i just don't like to be distracted by my opponent's etiquette or lack of at some moments. strange stuff happens when the clock approaches zero... or at least stuff you remember. idk.

I have been asking for an "ignore draw offers" function for ages.

Sounds like a good thing two draw offers max, then opponent must wait for counter draw offer....

How about one offer, then await a counter.
