John, how about challenging me every 3rd game?!?!?!?
Time Trouble
Bluders are lying silently on the board just waiting to be made... believe me John that this awful state of affairs has long been torturing me as well. Don I would say that you yourself aren't a total stranger to this problem either....
Me?!?!? Blunder?!?!? Nah, I think those "instances" are simply my opponent making a great move! Or, at the very least, a most interesting move.
Hi Don - picked up you note about chess openings. I've got a great book that I've had for some 25+ years called: 'Catastrophe in the Opening' by Iakaov Neishtadt. It's a really entertaining read...lots of basic blunders and lots of tactics to think about. Cheers John
i can email you the book Don, might just have a look at it myself. Thanks for the recomendation John.
Hi Chris and Don. I achieved a great win yesterday, when I promoted a pawn to a Knight/checkmate. It's the first time this has happened for me, and it is a great surprise for both players! It's raining here...what's new? Cheers John

Sympathise with your rating problems, Chris. I had an opponent who lost on time...ahh - No - I lost! His time clock and mine did a reverse for some reason. You can't trust anything these days, except that once in every three games I will lose by making a great blunder! Cheers John
