Timer is wrong!

On countless occasions the opponent's time slowly ticks away only to discover at the end YOU lose because of timeout! Even though you've been waiting for the other person to move! 😳😳😳

Sometimes the client gets disconnected from the game without any indication of that state. If you are on the web, refreshing the tab or window if your opponent hasn't moved in a while will often force that reconnection. How long you wait depends on the time control.

Also, if you are on v2 of the website, switching to v3 might help.

Same thing has been happening to me since I let Facebook get me into Chess.com ... when I try to change that link it says it has sent me a new password to my iPhone but it doesn't ... it is so frustrating that I am considering dropping chess.com altogether ...

You signed up through Facebook? If so, you will need to open a ticket if you want to have it so your account has a separate password.
