Good point. It's not just for Ivanchuck either.
Updating the games explorer.

There are several approaches to this problem. Is there a group that shares the responsibility for this feature of the website? Or perhaps the position was vacated and nobody was recruited to fill the role. A group of interested subscribers might try to get some background information from the administrators and make a concerted effort to restore this feature to a functioning state.

Are large databases like chess.com's or chessgame.com's or whatever updated by hand? Because otherwise it'd just be a question of updating a program. Of course, if there is no convient place to get GM games, then this would not be easy to do.

Adly, A. vs Ivanchuk, V. | 0–1 | 43 | 2011 | D94 - Gruenfeld Defense |

I should offer my gratitude that a game of Ivanchuk's has been found of recent date, however when I looked for this game in the Game Explorer using the advanced search option of searching "Master Games" I was not shown any games when I specified that the games should be from 2010 forward. I wonder whether kco has found a collection of games using the Game Explorer for this notable grandmaster that I have been unable to locate. It may be that as a new user, I am unfamiliar with the nuances of the system, but it seems inappropriate for such a straightforward choice to be hidden in obscurity. I am only persisting because it is a great feature to have fully functional and it occurs to me that most serious players are perhaps to busy to concern themselves with this if they have numerous other ways of obtaining the same information. All the same as a paying subscriber I do prefer to feel that my purchasing power is optimized.

I cannot see Polar_Bear games via Explorer :

Can You ???
I decided to search the games explorer for Ivanchuk's games and found that the list showing games from most recent had 2006 as the most recent entry. It seems hard to believe that the games of a significant grandmaster can be neglected in this fashion by a credible database. Are the members of chess.com so oblivious to this feature of the site that they are indifferent to this negligence. I would suggest that the games explorer be updated in a thorough and systematic fashion.
