Here's a quote from the Support Page:
"Member Points are an index of your participation in the more social or community-oriented aspects of Chess.com.
You get a point every time you...
- comment on something
- create a forum post
- post a blog
- publish an article
They simply show how active you are in these areas. You can't buy anything with them! :)" For example, I might get points by posting this.

The FBI was called. The usual suspects were rounded up. I remember it was a Thurs, it was raining. We all had to do a purp walk in a line-up. They caught a few minions, but Staff couldn't do a positive identification.
at least not since they found those bodies under his house
Would someone kindly explain what points are and how you get them? I really don't care, but found it odd that a few weeks after joining, and playing several games (not very well), that I received 1 point. Then a few days later I suddenly had 14 points. I have found no explanation of these points anywhere. Thank you. Liz
