+1 to boringidiots question. Entering the URL directly seems like a painful way to get to archived games. Where is the nav link to get to the games archive?
I've wasted more time than I care to count trying to find it, and am rather frustrated that I am unable to do so.

Actual found it, but it seems rather obscure. From home click on view all stats, then from there click games arvhice... Rather hidden, would somewhat expect to find a link on the nav menu at the top....

kohai posted a link and the direction on how to get to the games. With the redesign, that has changed though;
Play -> Live -> find the link called View Games Archive, or if you only need the most recent games there are there. You can also use Home -> Live Chess and the same link.
For Online, the process is similar, though you choose the Online links instead. Or you can use the archive page and the drop-down to change the game type.
Why do I have to relay on LUCK to find my games? I navigate here and there, trying desperately to find them. I see commercials everywhere; do you want to flirt, do you want an iPhone for free, do you want to make your computer faster? No, No, No.
