Why is chess.com so slow?

Chess.com is getting slow sometimes due to a lot of stuff over here. For example, live chat, live games, forums, streams, and many other things happening at a time. Any websites will get slower if its load is too much. I think so!

Over all this site has more features than any other sites in the chess world. So, chess.com is far better than other sites.

Yes, the website is actually ridiculous. I so regret paying for this BS just for some bait of a YouTuber. Lichess is better in practically any respect. I will continue to support Lichess also financially although it is free. Last post and last game here.

OK, I have gone through the twenty-two pages, just in case I will get that by some clever cogs. I think comparisons to other sites are not needed. I think the main issue is investing on more servers so that the load can be handled. I would like to know if that is a desire by Chess.com. We all know what happened when more than 20k on one specific site showed up to see some of the games at Lichess and they had technical issues too. But admittedly this site should get enough money (hopefully) to be able to have enough servers around so people do not complain. I was going to post my issue but I think the answer is clear. Also, do bear in mind that time stamping also wastes time which creates an irony or contradiction of sorts 1/0 games lasting more than two minutes...  So, hopefully they will invest.

ADVICE: Change your IP Address regularly

Whether due to cheat monitoring/analysis or other server data reasons, Chess.com caches player's IP addresses. This masses up (at chess.com's servers) and gunges like filter blockages.

This slows down players's IP address during sessions and is more noticeable during longer play.

Chess.com's own advice/recommendations deflect from the root cause, probably to protect their need to monitor customer's IP's.

ADVICE: Connect via VPN with good speed, low latency, and a good ping to chess.com. Every few games, alternate VPN IP address and reconnect. 

The intervals needed for IP alternation would likely vary during times of day. Recommendation is every 3-5 games, spend 1 minute doing this, reload and start new session.

(Note: Some sympathy to chess.com however, as if all customers did this, their cheat detection and server data massing system would weaken).

That isn't how things work and connection through a VPN is likely to cause more connection issues than less. Unless you have a local VPN provider that is able to bypass some hops that are causing extreme latency between you and the site.

While a VPN may have improved your connection to the site, it isn't due to the reason you think it is.

This site is so slow.  I play bullet on lichess without issue and I come on here and every game lags.  Basically impossible to play bullet.
