I'm having trouble with this app atm. Each time I go to open a game it tells me there's an error and would I like to report it? When I say yes the email it generates is massive and doesn't seem to be what I want.
I'm on a Lumia 630, windows 8, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled a few times.
Don't know what else to try.
Today this error occours to me too, I hope it's temporary (it happened ages ago but gone after an app update).
The app is a shame right now. Why can't wp users have the same app as android or ios?
Odd, the app worked perfectly 48 hourse ago... Did they break something server-side?! this happened long time ago, but it was fixed.
It started working for me for a short period of time, then broke again :( I think this is a server side issue as the app hasn't been updated recently.
My older Win phone app works fine. I disable the sound anyway because I usually play in a crowded place. I've had the app for at least a year on a Huawei
is it error code 429 , that is what I get when doing tactic excercises mobile?
Windows phone doesn't have a future, its just dead. Simply advice dont buy windows phones. Microsoft everything what they do just making the promises and thats it.
No, Microsoft is dedicating a lot of resources for Win10 and Win10 Mobile (the same ecosystem). WinPhone is dead because the new Win10 Mobile is rising, and Microsoft changed its brand. It's a great operating system, the only problem is the lack of apps, but with UWP (Universal Windows Phone apps) and the possibility for developers to make just one app with one code basis that runs on Win10 Desktop and on Win10 Mobile, the problem will soon a just a memory.
For me my Lumia 930 with W10M is the best smartphone ever seen. I have all the apps I need, it's a shame that Chess.com doesn't update it's app for W10, but the old WP app it's still usable. I do not need any other app.
And it's the main problem, desktop app in mobiles phones never be as smooth as on pc. Even Microsoft word, excel on win10 is buggy and uncomfortable to use. If you look at windows phone 10 app store where is just junk and serious apps just no longer supported, evryone leaves. I wouldnt suprised if mc decide to shut down that project. Even other developers lost hope for Win10 future.
A shame, because it goes so well, I play from my Lumia 930 with Win10 very smoothly... Now with Win10 they could do an Universal App that runs either on desktop or on smartphone, with the same base of code, it could be brilliant!
