3 Check

I'm currently playing in what I believe is a 3-check tournament and in one match I've managed to check my opponent three times and yet the match is still running as though it was a standard one.  Either I was mislead or there's something I don't understand...how do you know you've won in a 3-check match? Any help/explanation would be appreciated.

You'll know when a player gets the win on third check. Since that didn't happen, the game must not be a three-check one.

Also, it looks like you mostly play Daily chess and three-check is not an option in that format.

Thank you for the responses. I joined a tournament called 3 check but the name is misleading as it's a standard one. At least now I know that it's supposed to end with the third check.

Peeps got to play more 3 Check. I can never find a game.

Also, peeps got to play more Chess 960. How come you chess players are so stodgy that you don't play the chess variants pioneered by Fischer and the like?

There is only one thing better than 3 Check. That is Chess960.
