Swiss tournaments are kind of the same thing and sometimes rapid (live chess) has swiss events.

I really like the structure of daily tournaments with the groups, but I am getting really fed up with how long games are taking
Also I am transitioning to playing a lot more rapid chess than daily, I love the 15/10 time setting
