Help?

Is it possible for me to join a tournament?  I just joined this site yesterday, and have only played live games so far.  Through live games, my rating as of right now is 1403, although I believe I will cap out slightly higher than that, but not sure.  Could somebody please help me with this?  I don't have much money, so I will most likely not be able to pay for the added content, but anything that helps and is free on this site I would love to explore!  Thank you all for your time and effort!

You have to complete 5 rated turn based (not live chess) games, then you can enter a member created tournament, and an official chess.com tournament.
