A good night's sleep, a good breakfast and clean clothes.
Practice your "still happy, even though I lost" face and you're as prepared as most of us.

Do not shave Tuesday morning.
Also do not bathe... I know some tourney players follow this routine religiously lol.
You prepare by not surfing the chess.com forums. But some quick suggetions would be to look at your opponents latest games if you have access and try and prepare the openings you will play against them. You can look at certain things such as did they lose alot of games in the openings, did they lose their way in very open positions or closed positions.
Because of hyperventilation over such a long period of smoke blowing he actually hired a dozen men to take turns blowing smoke into his face while he analysed for hours. Such analysis sessions cost upwards of $500 on cigars alone.
lol.
@monstertactics the reason i am asking on this forum is because i dont know them at all so i am asking for advice.
usually when i play someone hard on chess.com i know their rating (i dont even now their rating!!!) and i can pepare by looking at their games and preparing something in perticular that might be good against them.

In an OTB tourney their ratings will be posted next to their name when you go look at the sheet showing who plays who.
Doing a few tactic puzzles to be sure you're not rusty and getting good sleep and eating well are really all you can hope to do on such short notice.
Solve tactics exercise. And stop drinking coffee, tea, cola drinks for a while. Caffeine makes one nervous.

Looking at people's ratings is dangerous...I had a tourney when i drew (in a won position) against somebody 600 points higher than me (USCF) and lost (very adly) to somebody 400 below me.
Anyway, Doogy_Style's post is right; I also find less screen time (barring things related to chess and such) also helps.
There's a good 4 part lectures series on preparing for tournaments on youtube, here's part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8QZ3IVa8Yo
