In tournament results, what does the number in parenthesis mean?

I am new at this site and just took 1st place in a tournament.

In tournament results, what does the number in parenthesis mean? See after my user name "faithfulltrav", it syas (2). See attached image.

It is the seed, in which you entered the tournament based on rating.

He is talking about the bottom right of the picture.

I just quite from a tournament (Blitz - 5m) because publicity over the board doesn't allowed me to see full board. I'm protesting about this situation. I know publicity is important to keep the site, but during a tournament?... On the board?... If don't want people playing for free, close the site for us. I have no money to spend in chess. I play for fun. Scores aren't important, but I like to end my games. It's the first I quite, but probably I'll leave this site. Thanks for reading this!
