Please keep me sane

Please tell me how I can keep sane in Daily chess when I'm playing these drones who have 500+ games going at once, only play in a game when it gets down to the last 24 hours, play in a really superficial manner, get lost positions, but just never resign no matter how much material they are down.  And the games go on for months, whilst you gradually tidy up, win material, promote a pawn, three days a move or fourteen days a move or whatever.  These guys probably spend 5 or 10 seconds per move in each game.  Why do they do it?  It is nuts and some of these characters are driving me nuts.

I agree and it is frustrating. Furthermore some are opponents take months of vacations when losing and leave me on hold for months!

Only way is to play tournaments without vacation and 1 Day per move 

Just finished a tournament game like that (2 day moves). Frustrating, absolutely. Just need to, "Keep calm and carry on!"

Yes it is not fun. The workaround is to build a friend list of people who play properly with you and then challenge them

I'm currently two rooks and three pawns up for a bishop in the endgame, and my opponent just made a move in the three days per move game with under an hour to spare.  I cannot understand the mentality of that.
