Take a look at how the pairings work in a multi-group tournament: http://www.chess.com/tournaments/help.html#groupings
Grouping completely depends on the ratings of the players at the beginning of the round and the pairings will be different depending on which player moves on in the tournamnet. Also, group 6 still has 4 games so those aren't the only games still in contention.
In the round robin tournie I am entered in the current game between bluerebel and pfer will determine which of these 2 players advances to the 2nd round. However, why not procede with the tournament anyway ? Even the pairing that either Pfer or bluerebel is in the 2nd round can procede with the remaining 2 players in that pairing playing each other.
Group 6 has more games remaining but I recall that the winner of group 6 has been determinted already.
