Time Control For Standard Games/Tournaments

I see that for tournaments, the longest available time control is 15/10, which I consider to be very fast.  Also, unless one chooses a longer custom time limit for a live standard game, the longest available time control is 30 min. per side.  As a beginner, these relatively short time limits make it very hard to make really thoughtful (hopefully accurate) moves. Are there more permissive time controls available through Chess.com, or is Daily Chess simply my only option to  minimize the impact of the clock?

There are a few groups on the site that do longer time controls in Live. The choices for custom time controls are actually pretty permissive, the problem is finding people willing to play them outside of groups.

Here are some groups I'm aware of:

Probably are others too.
