I am a commercial deep sea fisherman and therefore can be away for weeks at a time and the time outs are killing me ..... as a basic member my vacation time runs out quickly , as a result of this i have 14% time outs and am excluded from most tournaments .... and that sucks.

play 14 days/move games, or Live chess...

Resign all your games before you go. When you return only register in tournaments where the ratings range includes your pre-resignation rating.

Maybe consider subscribing because that way the games automatically go on vacation if they are due to time out
