Above all things to do during the tournaments. (1) Concentrate (2) Watch over all 64 squares at all times. (3) King safety is of the utmost importance. (4) Lasker used to say I found a good move, I'll look for a move that's better. (5) Every move you make it a move that threatens and don't forget about defense as well. Do all that and you'll win a tournament. Stronger players are superior in ratings. But where there is strength there is also weakness.
