Tournament List

Can anyone tell me how to increase the Tournaments I am Directing. I have about 20 of which 20 are running so if the rating for the tournament is higher or lower I can't see the tournament at all.

new changes to this are coming. we are actually going to limit the number of tournaments that individuals are running, so i recommend not going past 20.

I already have about 35. Awardchess has 100's. Can you make it be 25?

Erik, may I ask what the motivation is behind these new limitations?

I think it's so people make 100 of tournaments and wait. It also happens that someone makes their tournament but makes the chance of joining someone else's smaller.

Normal=1t 10p

Gold=10t 15p

Platinum= 25t 100p

or..

Normal max 15 players in all tournaments together

Gold max 50         "      "  "         "                 "

Platinum max 300  "      "  "         "                 "

I'd like to see members have authority to run unlimited tournaments. I understand not wanting to give this ability to Joe Noob as TDing is a position of responsibility, but some of us want to see some true open tournamnets such as a Canadian Open or a US Open. Only one of each though ;)

Instead of doing unlimited tournaments can we have a Monthly vote for a tournament that is unlimited and is also random like all europe or all south hemisphere.

Sounds like a good start.  Care to give us any hint as to what other changes may be in store?
