So im going to be gone next month for a novice tournment. Something fun 1st time doing this getting out of chess.com tournaments. Well im kind of excited and nervouse, this tournament is 10 hours long time control 75 minutes. Well the question im going to ask is what is your experiences based on these kind of amatuer tournaments how do some of these amatuers play. Knowing myself as an amatuer player well..... i pretty know how most amatuers open up mostly king pawn openings i guess maybe hardly queen pawn openings and also this is an unrated tournament so can anybody give me some advice please.
