vacation while logged in

I am playing in a match and with 1 day per move limit. My opponent repeatedly takes vacation but I observe that he is on line at the same time. This appears to me to be a way to cheat on the time limits of the game!

I can understand that, but this player does it every move so he in effect is playing a two or even three day schedule using "vacation" in a one day match - just is irritating since most of us who play one day events like to move along more quickly.

And when the vacation runs out, they will either move every day, or lose on time. Chess is a game of patience.
I have something related happening: in this case it is a fourteen day tournament where the player repeatedly goes on vacation when the clock runs down but he not only logs in while on vacation from Daily Chess but also plays live games in LIve Chess. I can't help feeling this smacks of unsporting behavior.

Well, you can probably see the devil again tonight. Always schedules for 5pm EDT, always arrives well after 6pm. Never talks legit COVID-19 info. Nope! It's all 2020 campaign propaganda while Americans die!

It's not a discussion about politics. It's comments (free speech) about a disgusting picture in posts 2, 4, and 10. The fact that you want to assume it's political is merely your mind getting dirty.
Re-read it. Nothing political in there! You can campaign things that aren't political. Not all propaganda is political. Therefore, you are merely "assuming" that it's political!
