Lauri, imagine group of more than 2, let's say 6...
i've seen plenty of similar situations.
I asked Nine of Wands to remove me and give my seat to next to proceed. Too many games I had at that time, I suppose, and my recruiting mission was already completed.
Here´s the correspondence :

I started as a New Super Admin @ Team Finland. My Work Load increased enormously. That´s why I do ask You to remove my name from the following tournament between rounds.

I have not told any players about my decision, so it´s equal for those who has games still left.
With Regrets, Lauri Aikio.
thanks to you all.
maybe you are right, netzach. maybe it is a layouut bug of CC, pop out after somebody's account is closed. some fake, confused info.
ok, lets wait and see what will happen.
and how about my second question, is it right that i can't write a comment on tournament homepage which i am eliminated from?
Your 2nd question :
I haven´t any experience of that kind of situation. I´ll check that, when next time eliminated.
Determining who is going to advance from a group seems to occur ONCE only. If someone withdraws (or is banned) AFTER they have been selected to advance, no-one else gets to advance.
That is how I reckon it works.
1. sollevy closed his account?
2. Definitely a bug. Section winners are marked as "advancing", but once an account is closed, for whatever reason, the tournament should recompute. Probably should do that either daily, or whenever a game completes, and definitely should do that when a round completes.

Unfortunately I cannot make any changes to who the system puts through to the next round of the tournament. I apologize for this inconvenience.
I have seen many cases, where a group qualifier retires from tournament between rounds, but not makes a free seat for next one to proceed.
