We've just made it easier for you to keep up with your streaks and Daily games on Chess.com! We're excited to announce our new mobile widget that will always remind you of your streak and make it easier for you to play!

Here's what you need to know about the Chess.com widget:

What Does The Widget Do?

Like other apps, Chess.com's widget adds useful shortcuts to your phone. You can add a Play button that will take you directly to our Play Online page, already set up with the last time control you've played.

You can also add a widget that reminds you of your streak and shows you if it's active for the day. You also have the option to both show your streak and add a play button—so you don't ever let your streak fire stop burning!

Finally, you can also add a shortcut to your Daily games. With the tap of a button, you'll go straight to the game that's closest to running out of time.

We also give you the option to customize your widget. You can choose between compact or wide designs, each with its own background and functionality.
