Chess.com and the US Chess League are happy to announce their cooperation for the USCL's 8th season.

The USCL holds a 13-week season (September-November) of chess matches between teams representing 16 American cities, with most of the nation's top professional players and top junior talents participating.

In order to reach a wider fan-base, the USCL will hold half of its matches on ICC (which has hosted all USCL matches for the first 7 seasons) and half of its matches on Chess.com. Monday matches will be played on ICC, with the moves relayed on Chess.com; while Wednesday matches will be played on Chess.com, with moves relayed on ICC. Both sites will also sponsor the USCL's 2012 season.

To further promote the league, live commentary has been arranged for all matches, by ICC on Mondays and by Chess.com on Wednesdays. The Wednesday shows on Chess.com/TV will be freely viewable by all. During the three-week post-season, both sites will provide live commentary.
