The Dublin Desperadoes are a team composed of tons of Irish talent and a top French champion enlisted as a free agent.

GM Sebastian Maze is the captain of the French national team. "Seb" is a regular participant in Irish tournaments having recently won one of Ireland's strongest weekend tournaments the Kilkenny Masters ahead of GMs Adams, Jones, and Cornette. Seb continued his good form with one of the best results of his career, winning the London Chess Classic Open ahead of 35 grandmasters. Here he is executing a beautiful attacking takedown of GM Dmitry Jakovenko.

IMs Sam Collins and Alex Lopez will need strong scores on board two to bring the team great success. Collins may be particularly familiar to readers for his popular chess books.

Rounding out the squad are two FMs Conor O'Donnell and Stephen Jessel and Killian Delaney, Henry Li, Stephen Moran, and Eoghan Casey. O'Donnell is a junior talent who holds the Irish record for being the youngest player to ever beat a grandmaster!

The PRO Chess League welcomes the Dublin Desperadoes!
