Congratulations to my amazing students!!
~Alvin He who won all of his games at the ladder tournament at St. Louis Chess Club, gained almost 100 rating points, and is now rated 1629! He has now gained almost 1000 points in a span of 8 months! He also won money
~Sudeep Vadderaju who won his quad in the Friday quads, going undefeated! He also won money
~Oliver Maher, who also won his quad, winning all of his games and gaining more than 100 rating points. He also won money
~Avyukt Gupta and Evan Jin who tied for first out of 55 people in the K-6 section of the Scholastic tournament on Saturday. They both won all of their games! They both gained quite a bit of rating with Avyukt reaching a new rating high!
~Additional congratulations to Avyukt who also won all of his games in the higher section of the Thursday Night tournament hosted by St. Louis Chess Cardinals And he gained even more rating!!
~Tejas Kota who finished fourth in the same section out of 55 people. He went undefeated, gained almost 100 rating points, and reached a new rating high! He has now gained 250 points in the past two months
~Ishaan Sinha and Eli Samovski who tied for fifth in the same section with 3 wins out of 4. Eli also gained 40+ rating points
~Hithesh Manojkumar for a great performance at the Chess Cardinals event on Thursday followed by a great performance at the Scholastic tournament on Saturday. He gained rating at both of them
~Charlie Glass, Zach Barrett, Oliver Maher, Yash Shelar, and Theo Elfenbein who won their games in the High School Chess League
