IM Levy Rozman stunned more than 200,000 of his opponents and "did the meme" in GothamChess vs. the World on November 7 by sacrificing his rook on the game's 21st move. After the world attacked Gotham's rook with a pawn, the internet chess star left the piece under attack and moved one of his own pawns instead.

Levy has turned rook sacrifices into a meme with shorts like the following, and now he has brought it to a huge game with hundreds of thousands.
