How to participate in the Chess.com Club's League

We are proud to announce that The Flaming Tigers are participating in the Chess.com Club's League! Clubs from all over the world will compete with each other to get the ultimate crown. The League has been divided into 2 divisions- A and B. Clubs with a larger amount of members are placed in division A and clubs with fewer members are placed in division B. And without any doubt, The Flaming Tigers are placed in Division A! But is it enough? No. We not only want to participate in the league, but we also want to be the champion. So, we are very concerned about this competition and without your help it would be not possible to become the champion.

You can find the details below:

1. Chess.com’s Clubs League 2020 season will be from Saturday, May 23 (first match) through Saturday, July 11 (final match).
2. The league will have weekly matches on eight (8) consecutive Saturdays – May 23, May 30, June 6, June 13, June 20, June 27, July 4, and July 11.
3. The matches will be played at 11:00 pm Bangladesh Time ( 10:00 am Pacific Time)
4. Players may only compete for one club in a season. It means a player cannot play in two or more clubs. e.g. If you are playing for The Flaming Tigers, you cannot play for other clubs, like Golden Sporting Club or Uttara Central Chess Club, and vice versa. If a player plays for two or more clubs, then all the matches he/she has played will be counted as a forfeit 
5. Each player will play 2 games against the same opponent (white/black). The time control is 15 minutes plus 2 second increment. All league games and matches are to be Chess.com rapid rated.
6. The prizes will be several Chess.com premium memberships. Details coming later…
