More than 2,500 fantastic games were submitted to the "Chess.com Immortal Game" contest, and Chess.com now needs you to select the victors. Which game do YOU think is truly immortal?

You're invited to vote for your favorite game in each category (listed below). Community members voting ends on April 18 at 6 p.m. Pacific Time (4 a.m. CEST on April 19), so don't forget to voice your opinion! To do so, you just have to fill out the form at the bottom of this article.

If you missed the deadline, you can still submit games for consideration to be added to the ongoing Immortal Games Collection in Chess.com/library. Be sure to check out our official Immortal Games Collection here:

Votes from community members and the Chess.com expert panel will determine the official winners. The author of the immortal game will win a piece of the $2,000 prize fund, distributed as follows:

  • Chess.com Immortal Game: $1,000
  • Immortal Bullet Game: $250
  • Immortal Daily Chess Game: $250
  • Immortal Queen Sacrifice: $250
  • Immortal Swindle: $250

The prizes are not only for those who played the games. If you were the first person to submit one of the immortal games, you'll win a one-year membership for helping us unearth this gem. Additionally, three voters with a completed ballot will be selected at random to receive one-year memberships.

We'll announce the contest winners live on April 19 during the broadcast of the 8th round of the 2020-2021 Candidates Tournament. Make sure to check out Chess.com/events,  Chess.com/TV, or our Twitch channel to find out the winners and enjoy the games of the best chess players in the world!
