Wales is a country with a very distinct language and culture

Not many people outside Wales realise that we have a distinct heritage and ancient language that has little to do withAnglo saxon England.

Below are some random words that are very different from the English words

Chess = gwyddbwyll (welsh translation)

Rainbow = enfys

love = caru

Beauty = harddwch

Welsh is also spoken in parts of Patagonia in Argentina.
