Right Move Public Chess Club of Colorado Springs, CO is a weeknight chess club meeting every Thursday evening beginning at 6:00pm: The Right Move Public Chess Club of Colorado Springs is dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of chess. Our youth and adult members enjoy both tournament style and social chess games within a quiet and pleasant environment.Visitors & new members are always welcome! There are no compulsory membership fees or dues of any kind. Supporters of the club make voluntary donations to help offset club expenses. Come out and join us in one of our club competitions or just come for an informal, 'friendly' game of chess. The club offers group lessons off-site on Monday evenings. Most club activities are free. Occasionally we will have tournaments or competitions which will serve as fundraisers for the club. Club doors open on Thursdays at 6:00pm for social & casual chess games. Tournament style play starts at 6:30pm unless otherwise noted. Informal 'friendly' games are available anytime during club hours until we close at 9:30pm. We hope you will sincerely find the club to be a congenial place for you to come and play the Royal Game of chess. At our weekly meetings you will find many chess players of all abilities and interests, from novice to intermediate to advanced.  Whether you prefer just a casual game or two or are here for serious tournament play, we can accommodate you. The Right Move Public Chess Club of Colorado Springs has one weekly meeting for pick-up games and tournament style play and a separate weekly meeting off-site for group chess lessons. Thursday Club Meeting: 6:00 to 9:30pm Monday Group Lessons: 7:00 to 10:00pm (off-site) Please contact us if you are interested in joining the club, or just dropping by every once in a while, so that we may plan accordingly. Becoming a member is simply a matter of saying "I want to play chess at Right Move Public Chess Club". There are no compulsory membership fees or dues of any kind.
