Baskaran Adhiban is an Indian grandmaster. His biggest accomplishments include being the 2009 Indian Champion and the 2008 World Under-16 Champion. He also won the 2007 Asian Under-16 Championship and, despite being the lowest-ranked player, finished third in the 2017 Tata Steel tournament behind only GMs Wesley So and Magnus Carlsen. He won a bronze medal with the Indian team at the 2022 FIDE Olympiad.
