With this tournament I'm trying to create an entertaining competition with a roughly balanced field (Elo 1200-2000). To join, you must have completed at least 40 daily games. This ensures that your Elo is accurate, but even more importantly, it guarantees that your time-outs rate is accurate too. Many tournaments that require a maximum of 10% timed out games are full of players who have never played daily before, and when the tournament starts, they just forget about it and time out all their games. You won't find that here. You will find players with a skill level similar to yours who will play until the end of the game. Enjoy!
