This is a "No Vacation" tournament!
It was suggested that the 1 day per move club try to have a knock out tournament for its members. I haven't created this type of tournament previously so I hope all works as expected. 
Participants will only play 2 games at a time and the winner of those two games will advance to the next round. We are using tie breaks so I hope there won't be very many ties. There will actually be 5 tournaments to give players of varying abilities to have a chance to win. Finally, we (the admins) want this to be a fast event so it is offered to members whose average move time is < 12 hours which includes about 90% of the membership. As always, vacations will not be permitted.
Since the rating bands are fairly tight, please watch to be certain that you fall within your group, i.e. you don't jump above or drop below the group you joined.
