This is the 64th MSCA Chess.com NOVICE Tournament! Only players who play their games QUICKLY (who have a low Avg. Time per Move) and who have completed 3 games already can register. Games have a 1 day time control and the games in the round start immediately! (That could be up to 22 games starting right away and going fast!!) Vacation is allowed.

Games Not Rated
Hello All. It has been brought to my attention that the games are not rated for the July event. Sorry for this. Chess.com made some technical change that I was not aware of, and I now have to specify that option. Unfortunately, that option doesn't even exist when I create a tournament, but only shows up after the tournament is created, so I'll spend the extra step to make sure tournaments are rated in the future. Thank you all for your interest in these tournaments, and thank you @vikes420 for noticing this option.

Hi All. Chess.com did not get back to me yet on the support issue, and it seems I can kick-off the tournament, so I will plan to do this tomorrow. Just wanted to give the heads-up, so those who don't have auto-vacation have the 1-day notice that it will start soon. Thanks again for your interest.
