Vacation Usage

Vacation is precious, especially for these events because of the fast 1-day time control, and the timeout threshold is 10% for future invitations.

As such, please see the chess.com article on vacation...

I've learned a few tips about vacation if you don't mind that I share. It's possible to burn up more than one day in a 24-hour period if not used carefully. For example, as soon as you move, you are taken off vacation, but it will deduct 24 hours minimum from your vacation balance; therefore, if you make a move on a game, and are put back on vacation in 2 hours, you will get another 24 hours deducted from your vacation balance.

When I am on vacation, I plan to take the day off and ponder my positions, so when I am ready to move, I can move on most of my games if not all of them. I will make moves on my games where my time is the lowest, so that I don't get put on vacation right away again. Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any questions.
