New 960 tournament - Mohs 6
Dear all, registration has just opened for another 960 tournament in this series, called "960 Othoclase (Mohs 6)". It has the same format and parameters as this one (including the 3 day time limit for moves) but with a maximum historic average time of 6 hours per move, so it shouldn't drag on like this tournament. I hope to see many of you there. Rob
new 960 tournament
960 Apatite (Mohs 5) now open for registration. Max rating 1500, move time limit 3 days, max average historic move time 6 hours. I hope to see some of you there. Rob
Another new 960 tournament - faster moves than this one
960 Flourite (Mohs 4) now open for registration. 48 players, groups of 6 with 3 progressing, and a 1500 rating ceiling, but also a 2 day move time limit and a max historic average move time of 6 hours, so it should have less waiting than this.
New 960 tournament - faster moves than this one
Hi everyone. I've just created the next 960 tournament in this "Mohs" series, called 960 Calcite (Mohs 3). It has a max rating of 1500 like this one, and a similar format, but it's only for players who have an average move time of < 6 hours (which most of you do), so it should move more quickly than this one. I hope lots of you register for it. Rob
