Thank you all for participating.

This indicates Burnelr would get gold.

The tournament home page and standings shows gold as well as first place points went to Anton137.

Everyone got one place lower.

Really it is just a fun online tournament so not anything that should cause any great concern, but you may wish make it known that the logic to award medals and points is buggy. It may be fixed for future tournaments.

Remaining Players: 5 (5%) Remaining Games: 0 (current round)
Average Rating: 1682 Biggest Upset: 1857 defeats 2177

This is for risk takers, committing to one long tournament for big points rather than eking out a few points at a time in multiple smaller tournaments. With this format, players who reach the final round will have played up to ten games each round for an estimated six rounds.

At the end someone has a chance of taking home more points than in any one tournament, with a similar ratings range, than they have ever done before.

Minimum Games Completed: 100 (was 200)

Maximum Timeout %: 15 (was 10)

Here are examples where three players in a group advance. They are in the rarefied height of thousand point tournaments.

A tournament with larger groups will have less rounds but then more simultaneous games are added to your list.

TadDude: your implicit argument: "respect people who don't violate the rules". OK.

By the way: it's a pity that there are no "40 moves in 40 days" - tournaments ...

Everyone please be patient and do not lose confidence in "No vacation" tournaments.

In general the "No vacation" setting is a powerful factor in decreasing the length of tournaments.

What "No vacation" does is enforce the time limit for a move. Players can take up to the maximum time, not one second more.

It has no effect on the number of moves it takes for a game to reach a conclusion.

I am in 2 "No vacation" tournaments waiting very, very patiently for the next round. It should be clear that "No vacation" means something and should not be ridiculized by stubborn extra-slow exhibitions.

I could just resign so we could move on, but I dont want to.
