Deleting No-Shows

nevil | Mar 22, 2008, 12:28 AM

I am not allowed to delete someone with a pending game. So I have tried to resign when the no show is white, this did not affect my rating.  Now that I am white I am able to make the first move and it looks like I will win by time.  I should be able to remove this person from the tournament after the game times out.  This seems to be the only way to get someone out of the tournament that has quit using Chess.com.

I will let you know if this works.

1st Moves

nevil | Mar 19, 2008, 5:15 PM

It appears that a time loss does not take affect if the first move isn't made and that there are some 1200 players (complete newbies) that have not logged in since they signed up.  After the tournament has been in play for 3 days I will remove the 1200 players that haven't moved.  Non-1200 players that haven't moved will get 5 days, unless on vacation.
