I wanted to attempt making a tournament for newcomers to Chess.com, myself included, that was for people under a daily rating of 800. Please bare with me as I have never created an event or tournament on the platform. I hope everyone will get to have some good games and experiences as a result of it 😊

Auto-Join Issues
Hi all,
I'm so sorry for the issues to do with my forum post's link, it was my fault for not realising I put an auto-join link when I initially made the post 🤦♀️😥 I think/hope it has been fixed now to an non-auto join one. If anyone wants me to remove them from the tournament please let me know and I will try to do so on my end (if you have already made a move in one of the games unfortunately it doesn't allow me to do it anymore so you will need to click on the 'withdraw' button/tab on the top right hand side of the tournament's page). Again big apologies from me for the confusion and for causing problems for anyone 😥 Hopefully everyone will still get to enjoy their games 🙏
Late Start
Hi all,
I assumed that the tournament would autostart regardless of the amount of people signed up, but it seems to not have gone live on the 26th as there are 20/30 people? (I'm guessing because it is not full it did not start - sorry I am still trying to work out how setting up tournaments works 😥). Apologies that this is delayed, for the confusion and for any issues faced as a result. I can see now how to manually start the tournament, so I am going to go ahead and put it live so we can start some matches even though we are not at the full 30 people 😊
