Invitational Tournament

Black Stone members

We are organizing a tournament for, and only for, members of Black Stone. To make it fun for all we will organize three tournaments for different player strengths, being:

● Black Stone Tournament Onyx ᴸᴵᴺᴷ       (for Elo1700 and up)

● Black Stone Tournament Obsidian ᴸᴵᴺᴷ (for Elo1300-1700)

● Black Stone Tournament Jet ᴸᴵᴺᴷ           (for under Elo1300)

This is meant to be fun for all, so let's make it fun for all!

I assume it will not be necessary to enforce any rules, still I'll state them right away anyway.

Regulations:

I.   Fairplay and all other regulations conform chesscom regulations
II.  Vacation time will be allowed, but under restrictions:

III. Being: do not take more than 3 weeks consecutive vacation at a time, taking more could get you
removed from the tournament. (wouldn't be fair to the rest of the participants)

IV. From each group 2 players will advance

V.  This tournament's size will depend on the number of registrations

VI. Since this tournament is planned ahead, it could happen that your rating rises or drops, so that you
would be placed in another division. I will leave this up to you, if your average rating is accordingly, just
PM me and we'll solve it.

VII. There can be minor adjustments to the tournament, they will be announced if there are.

I hope you'll join, have fun everybody!
