The third tournament in the Galway Chess Club trilogy...
Games: You will play one game per opponent, with up to 11 opponents. The top 3 scores in each group proceed to the next round.
Time: You have only 1 day for each move, but you may use "vacation time" if you need to take a break. When you register with chess.com, you get a total of 7 days' vacation time and accrue an extra day every fortnight or so. That said, this is supposed to be a speedy tournament, so if someone is taking the piss with the vacation time, I will boot them out.
Analysis: The rules around analysis vary for correspondence games - some allow you to consult opening books, others allow you to set up a board and play through variations. For simplicity, none of that is permitted in this tournament. You all seem like honourable people, and I can't do anything about it anyway, so I'll trust you ![]()
Objective: Have fun!
Good luck!
