Kicking off the fifth official Actuary's chess tournament since the death of the actuarial outpost. Players from GoA, Reddit, and the old AO welcome! This will be the C group - So the top 2 participants will promote to Group B next season and the bottom 2 participants will relegate to the D group next season!
Date is TBD, but will happen sometime in January on or after 1/15.

Tournament starts 1/15/24 (Monday)
Hello all,
The tournament will start on 1/15/24 at 8AM EST. You will have one game as white and one game as black against each opponent. 3 days/move and vacation allowed. Top 3 finishers will get medals. On chess.com, opening databases and books (including instructional Youtube videos) are allowed for daily chess, but endgame tablebases and engines are prohibited. For those new to daily chess, there is also an in-game self-analysis tool you can you use to look at possible moves.
