Friends and New Friends,
thank you once again for participating in my last few torunaments. These 14-day-move tournaments are fun and I'm very interested to see when this particular one finishes. It's been set to give you just about the maximum time allowable to make a move. the timeout percentage stays at 10%. However, the number of players from each group to advance has been increased to 3 per group. Additionally, the games-played minimum has been bumped up to 100 to try and weed out the tire-kickers.
One of my other torunaments ",Winter Doldrums," was started on 12/18/2010 and is only about 60% complete.
Of course, I'm taking my time and inviting my friends first. I'll then open it up to everyone else. Since this is not the most popular format, we may not get started until after Christmas/July 4th, etc...
Just like the Doldrums tourney, I'll make a $20 donation to the charity of the winners choice (exclusions do apply).
