This is a "No Vacation" tournament!
Nairobi Chess Club (NCC) is a small but active club in Kenya. It's the oldest chess club in Kenya, founded in 1958.
NCC provide opportunities for local chess players with events throughout the year. All of them are possible thanks to sponsorships.
Aslam Adam was the first Tournament Director of NCC and a committed player for our club.
He was the winner of Kenya Open in 1981.
Adam was a long time supporter of NCC.
Unfortunately he passed away last year
The fourth edition of this online tournament is held in his memory and his great commitment and engagement with Nairobi Chess Club.
This tournament is open to all chess.com members and especially to our NCC members. There is no restriction because of your daily rating.

Nairobi Chess Club (NCC), was officially registered on 26th February 1958 and is the oldest chess club in Kenya and probably in East Africa.
The online tournament "V Capablanca Cup NCC" is open to all chess.com members and especially to our NCC members.
The tournament will start on 2024, Set.14th. (or earlier if registration is completed) There is no restriction because of rating.

Nairobi Chess Club (NCC) is the oldest and more active club in Kenya, having registered on Feb.26th, 1958.
NCC has the pleasure to invite you to the tournament "NCC 2024 KO".
The tournament will start on 2024, Aug.24th. (or earlier if registration is completed) There is no restriction because of the rating.
The system of play will be knock-out. Time control: 2 days/move. Players will have 2 simultaneous games.
Any member of chess.com has the chance to register.
