This is a "No Vacation" tournament!
12th World Champion Anatoly Karpov will be teaching his first-ever live, online chess lesson on August 13th, 2017 at 12:05 PM Pacific Time in Chess University's Prodigy Program.
Students in the August 2017 Prodigy Program can attend Karpov's lesson for free! Those not in the Prodigy Program can join Karpov's lecture this weekend here.
This tournament is invite-only and meant for Chess.com premium members and Chess University students who are fans of Karpov. Vacation time is not permitted. The time control is three days per move.
Chess University is organizing these tournaments on Chess.com to honor the legendary Karpov! Let's give him a warm welcome by joining this tournament and participating in his lecture.
