The tournament finally ended, after 1094 rounds! This was an amazing journey, and it probably broke a few records on chess.com! Thank you so much to everyone who participated and made this possible.

Sorry I'm a few days late, but I had to make an announcement for this amazing achievement! 6 players remain, can they hold off for another 500?

Congrats guys, we've made it to 100 rounds! At this point, still 35 people remain! It's amazing to think that for 100 consecutive days (minus the ones where games were delayed because of people not checkmating on the first move) all of you have made one move on a chessboard. This might be the first chess.com daily tournament to complete 100 rounds, who knows. GGs, and good luck to those of you who still remain!

Only 10 rounds left to 100! I'm sure this is the most rounds any tournament has gotten to, right? If you know of any that have more tell me lol. Thanks for participating, and good luck in the future rounds to come!

On another note, the 4th tournament in the mate in 1 series is here! It should work really well because white only has one legal move, which is mate. It's a cool position, so please check it out. Thanks!

haven't announced in a while. but currently round 27, 79 players. nice! lets get to 100 rounds? everyone predicted so much less!

starting in round 4, the first person to play "Qg6" first move gets 10 trophies from me. idk why people like trophies but doing these "challenges" will make this interesting. i'll do more of these, so tell me if you want them in the tournament announcements or comments

hmm good job @leandrin for being the only one to start off the tournament with a 2-0 even though this whole thing is kinda luck and sad job @acharya100 for being the only person in the whole tournament to finish with a score of 0

there are 3 people who didn't take the welcoming gift of a mate in one. end your games now or get kicked from the tournament, no joke. it doesn't even make sense why you would do that but ok

Seriously don't try to make more than 5 moves before checkmating or you will be kicked from the tournament. Just checkmate instantly or you're ruining the fun.
